Rotary seeks participants

Rotary clubs in the Conejo Valley area are seeking young professionals ages 25 to 40 to participate in a group study exchange program in India.

Those selected will leave Jan. 1, 2008, and return Jan. 24. The Rotary Foundation, which sponsors the program, will pay for a round-trip ticket. Rotarians in India will provide meals, lodging and group travel.

The same arrangements are afforded to a team of professionals from India who will be in this area from Sept. 28 to Oct. 28.

The program is to promote international understanding and goodwill through presentations at local Rotary clubs and at social gatherings where the visitors discuss their vocations and the positive characteristics of their hometowns.

Applicants must reside locally, cannot be Rotarians nor a close family relation nor a spouse of a Rotarian.
