Breast cancer treatment update

Dr. Steven Wong will lead an evening session at The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura's Breast Cancer Connection on the latest treatments in breast cancer. Women who have or have had breast cancer are welcome to attend.

Wong, a faculty member in hematology/oncology at UCLA, works in the field of translational oncology research. He has experience in basic and clinical research and handson clinical patient care. Wong has an active weekly clinic tending mainly to cancer patients and is well-versed in the current evolution of oncology care and newer biologic therapies.

The physician completed his medical training at the UCLA Medical Center.

The Wellness Community Valley/Ventura is the local chapter of the international, nonprofit organization dedicated to providing free support, education and hope to men and women affected by cancer.
