Agoura Hills resident earns degree
      Meghan D. Joss of Agoura Hills received a Bachelor of Science degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Va., at commencement ceremonies in June. Joss majored in psychology and philosophy. She has been named to the dean's list and achieved the honor roll at the university.

Campers journey to Hogwarts
      Enrollment is open for the CATS Wizardry and Literacy Camp offered in various cities this summer. Campers will take a journey though reading, writing and acting as they study the novel "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" by J.K. Rowling.

Westlake Village student becomes Emerson scholar
      Michaela K. Shaw of Westlake Village has been named one of 52 Emerson Scholars, entitling Shaw to a full scholarship to attend Interlochen Arts Camp, a summer arts program for aspiring young musicians. Shaw will study the harp and perform with youth ensembles.

      Gretchen Paulson of Westlake Village was named to the dean's list for the spring semester at Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. Paulson is majoring in athletic training and maintained a grade point average of at least 3.25.
