Stage Door auditioning for male role in 'Tender Trap'

Stage Door Theatre in Agoura Hills is seeking a male actor for the cast of "The Tender Trap," now in rehearsal.

The role is for supporting character Earl Lindquist, age 25 to 30. The show is a romantic comedy set in 1950s New York. The character is the head of a lab that tests new pharmaceuticals. He's in love with his lab assistant, Julie, but is awkward with girls.

The show's run dates are Aug. 10 through Sept. 15. Show times are 8 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday, with 2 p.m. matinees on Sun. Aug. 12 and 26 and Sept. 9.
