Breastfeedingfriendly workplaces are encouraged

Employees and employers are invited to submit nominations for the 2007 Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace Awards, given to employers and licensed child care providers who support breastfeeding in the workplace. Anyone can submit the nominations, including employers themselves.

Nominations will be accepted through Tues., July 10, and award winners will be announced in August as part of the celebration of Breastfeeding Awareness Week, Aug. 1 through 7. Applications are available at the website www.breastfeedventura.org, or by calling (805) 667-2115.
