Westlake Library hosts photo contests

The Westlake Village Library is sponsoring two photo contests for teenagers.

To enter the "Snap It" contest, youth ages 13 to 17 are asked to spend one day taking pictures of Westlake Village. Winners will be chosen the last week of August based on the "best representation of life in Westlake Village." Prizes will be awarded.

The second contest is open to teens who are going on a trip this summer. To enter, they are asked to have their photo taken in front of a library outside the state of California. Entrants should bring their photos to the Westlake Village Library before Sat., Sept. 1. The winner will be the contestant whose pictured library is the farthest from Westlake.
