Study the science of fear

The California Science Center will present "Goose Bumps! The Science of Fear" from Wed., July 4 to Mon., Dec. 31 at 700 State Drive, Los Angeles.

The interactive, 6,000square-foot exhibit will allow guests to test their own fears and rate their physiological responses.

Areas include the Fear Challenge Course, Fear Lab, Faces of Emotion and Fear and Society.

Admission is free. Parking in the guest lot at Figuerora and 39th Street is $6 per car, $10 per bus or oversized vehicle. The center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
