Calabasas opens pocketbook
Grants to be awarded

The city of Calabasas Community Services Department is accepting applications for its 2007-08 community service grants program. Nonprofit organizations and public schools are eligible to apply. Programs that wish to receive funding must benefit the community of Calabasas in some way.

Applications must be accepted until 5 p.m. Fri., July 20. Awards will be announced in September. Applications may be mailed or brought to Calabasas City Hall, 26135 Mureau Road, Calabasas, CA 91302. Faxes and late proposals will not be accepted.

Organizations that have previously received grants must complete an annual report form before being considered for the new cycle. An organization may receive only one award up to $7,000 per fiscal year and the grant amounts will vary.
