Music fest will jazz up Warner Center Park

The Playboy Jazz Festival will present "Playboy Jazz at Warner Park" from 1:30 to 8 p.m. Sun., June 10 at the Lou Bredlow Pavilion in Warner Center Park, 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills.

The concert will feature Poncho Sanchez and his Latin Jazz Band, pianist Freddie Ravel, drummer Tootie Heath and Friends, bassist Miles Mosley and his band, and vocalist Judy Chamberlain.

The concert is held in conjunction with the upcoming 29th annual Playboy Jazz Festival set for Sat. and Sun., June 16 and 17 at the Hollywood Bowl.

A variety of food and refreshments will be sold. Patrons may bring blankets, beach/lawn chairs, picnic baskets and coolers. Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

Parking is available in the parking structures on Califa Street for $5 or in parking structures east of Owensmouth Avenue between Califa Street and Oxnard Street for $4.
