Calabasas musicians to play with Master Chorale

Members of the Calabasas Chamber Orchestra will play with the Hollywood Master chorale at a concert entitled "All Ye Who Music Love," at 7 p.m. Sun., June 24 at the Wilshire United Methodist Church, 4350 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles. A pre-concert discussion will begin at 6:30 p.m.

The orchestra will accompany two odes by Henry Purcell, "Welcome to all the pleasures" and "Love's goddess sure was blind." The musicians will also perform Bach's Double Violin Concerto with violin soloists Christine Chen and Angela Chen.

This is the orchestra's second appearance with the Hollywood Master Chorale.

Tickets are $18 in advance and $22 at the door for adults, $15 for seniors, students and disabled, and $8 for children.
