Landfill conducts hazardous waste pickup

HAUL IT AWAY- Sgt. Juan Amador, a Marine based at Camp Pendleton, offers his assistance at the Calabasas Landfill hazardous waste roundup last Sunday. The public was invited to bring items that are difficult to discard such as paints, chemicals and old electronic gear.
