St. Paul Lutheran Church will confirm youth

Three youth will be confirmed in the Christian faith Sun., June 3 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 30600 Thousand Oaks Blvd, Agoura Hills.

Lindsay Courtney, Sean Miller and Elizabeth Neumann will give their testimony of faith before the congregation in both the 9 and 10:30 a.m. worship services, with the rite of confirmation in the later service.

The Rev. R.Z. Meyer, a former interim pastor at St. Paul, will conduct the services. Instructors and mentors Kari Zeile, Paul Richert and Dean Taylor will assist in the rite of confirmation.

Judy Bader will be installed as full-time director of family life ministry during the 10:30 a.m. service. Bader is a graduate of Concordia Teachers College and has a bachelor's degree in education, majoring in early childhood development. She has taught in various Lutheran elementary schools and joined the St. Paul staff in 2004 as part-time director of children's ministry.

A reception will be hosted after the 10:30 a.m. service to honor the confirmands and Bader.
