Grants offered to local adoptive families

The Orphan Foundation announced the availability of funds to help adoptive families in the Conejo Valley.

The amount of each grant is $1,000 per child, or $1,500 for a child with special needs. A total of five grants are being made available.

Applications for the grants are available on the foundation's website which is www.TheOrphanFoundation.org.

The foundation, based in Newbury Park, was founded by Joe and Tatiana DiDonato to provide financial support to families adopting children.
