Calabasas offers classes

+Lessons in applying makeup will be offered in a fiveweek session. Cost is $60 plus a $10 materials fee payable to the instructor. Participants should bring their own supplies. Basic skin care and color theory will be discussed.

+California Skate School inline and roller skating classes will be held at Gates Canyon Park, 25801 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Calabasas. A class for youth ages 5 to 15 will emphasize safety and teach the basics of inline skating. Students ages 16 and up will learn the rules of the road, safety tips and body alignment. Fee for the eightweek session is $100. Skates and protective guard are provided.

+An adult golf class will be taught by the Better Golf Academy at Lindero Country Club, 5719 Lake Lindero Drive, Agoura Hills. Fee for the sixweek session is $120. Clinics will cover the fundamentals, including grip, setup, back swing, impact and finish.

+The summer beach bus program will run from Mon., June 18 to Fri., Aug. 24. The bus will pick up from locations in Calabasas and drop off at Zuma Beach No. 6. The fee is $1 each way, and a photo ID is required to ride the bus.
