Calabasas High School presents musical

Calabasas High School will present "Urinetown, The Musical" at 7 p.m. tonight, Thurs., May 24, to Sat., May 26 at the school theater, 22855 Mulholland Highway, Calabasas.

The show is set in a town plagued by drought, where water has become so scarce private toilets are outlawed. One corporation has a monopoly on public facilities, and the citizens are forced to pay high taxes and fines to use them. Offenders are sent to a place called Urinetown, from which no one returns. Finally, a hero comes forward to lead the people toward peace and equality.

Tickets are $12 general admission and $8 for students, and are available at the high school or by calling (818) 222-9991.
