Bruno to step down

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven. A time to speak and a time to be silent.

I have wrestled and travailed a great deal for the past six months over my decision to run for reelection to serve on the City Council for the magnificent city of Westlake Village.

I have come to realize, as my four-year term comes to a close in December, that my season of serving on the council should also close. I will not be seeking reelection.

It is my most sincere prayer that by announcing my intentions early, that God will stir the hearts of earnest citizens to step forward to pursue the honor of bringing your voices to city hall.

With the deepest respect and love for the people who have allowed me the privilege of serving.
