+Come to the Calabasas Library between noon and 2 p.m. Sat., June 2 and bring new emerging readers in grades K-3 to share in a unique reading program.

Therapy dogs trained through Paws 4 Healing will sit or lie and listen while children read aloud. Sign-ups begin at 11:30 a.m. Each child will have 15 minutes to read to a dog.

+The Friends of the Calabasas Library is having a quarterly book sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., June 16. There will be thousands of titles for sale from $2 and under, including adult fiction, nonfiction, children's books, audiobooks and movies.
