Santa Monica, Agoura lead skateboard club standings

FIERCE COMPETITION- Kristos Andrew-Drum, 16, of Santa Monica tries a daring stunt during Event 2 of the California High School Skateboard Club season at Skatelab in Simi Valley on Saturday. Skating off a high overhang, flying through the air and landing a little too hard, Andrew-Drum snapped his board in two pieces but was okay. Santa Monica defeated Agoura to win the competition. The two teams are now tied atop the league standings. Westlake and Oak Park are tied for third. Josh Krackover of Agoura won the highest ollie event later in the day.
