More traffic troubles

Regarding Carol Rosenberg's letter, May 3, and Linda Le Vine's letter, March 22.

I was involved in an accident on June 28, 2005, as I was exiting the animal shelter to go east on Agoura Road. I lend my voice to that of Ms. Rosenberg and others who have written over the years. This is a dangerous area that too long has been ignored.

In my case, the other vehicle was traveling at such a high speed that he had to swerve to avoid hitting me. His car hit the tree that is located just west of the entrance and rolled twice. It finally came to rest on top of a guardrail some 150 feet away.

Fortunately for everyone there were no vehicles coming in the other direction around the blind curve to the west of the entrance or they, too, would have been involved.

I urge the city to take the correctional steps mentioned by Ms. Rosenberg and to do so expeditiously before there is loss of life or serious injury. John F. Moravec Agoura Hills
