Classes offered at Parent Ed Center

Lamaze preparation classes will begin at 6:30 p.m. Wed., May 23 at the Infant and New Parent Education Center at the Crowley House, 2522 Pleasant Way, Thousand Oaks.

The classes run for six weeks and are taught by Brenda Hunter, a certified instructor and the executive director of Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning.

There is a $75 per couple fee.

Conejo Valley Neighborhood for Learning will present a new program for toddlers ages 18 to 35 months from July 9 to Aug. 16 at 280 Conejo School Road, Thousand Oaks.

The classes will be in English and Spanish and will feature parent discussions on how children learn, stages of parenting, nutrition and healthy living, and literacy development. The classes are sponsored by the Westlake Women's Club.
