The Chaparral Elementary School YMCA Indian Princess Tribe, known as the Wind River Tribe, visited the Lange Foundation recently to donate $500 to its Pet Adoption program.

The Lange Foundation works to save impounded animals and find them owners. Many of the pets are victims of abuse and neglect.

The Indian Princess Tribe earned the $500 over the past year by doing projects, tasks and chores in order to donate their money to the cause. The goal of the project was to teach the tribe the importance of hard work, responsibility and community service.
