Summer camps offered

The Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center is offering the following summer camps at 27040 Malibu Hills Road, Calabasas.

+Sports N' More Summer Camp, ages 5 to 12, combines sports, games, crafts and nutritional snacks. Bring a sack lunch and athletic shoes.

All camps are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sessions begin weekly starting June 18 and ending Aug. 6.

The cost is $245/week, $55/ day. Pay by the day or the week.

+Movies By Kids Summer Camps, ages 7 and up. Youths will write, direct, storyboard, operate digital video equipment, and act in their own movies. Every student will receive a DVD of their movie at the end of class.

Film classes are one week from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Kung-Fu Filmmaking starts June 18 and costs $375.

Adventures in Animation & Claymation begins July 9 and costs $350.

Advanced Animation & Claymation has a fee of $350 and begins Aug. 6.

+Rock & Roll High Summer Camp, ages 5 to 11. Students will form their own band and learn guitar, bass and drums. The camp is five weeks on Mondays, 10 a.m. to noon, starting May 14. The fee is $30.
