LOCAL HISTORY-- Doris Butler, manager of visitor
services at Leonis Adobe, describes the story of the Plummer House to, from
left, Nancy and Tristan Eisenberg, 10, of Van Nuys, and Judy Jordan and Arlene
E. Bernholtz, both of Calabasas. On Friday evening the Leonis Adobe held an
opening reception for the new exhibit on local history, which features Miguel
Leonis, known as the "King of Calabasas." The display has been permanently
installed in the museum's historic Plummer House.
