Writers will read at open mike night

The California Writers Club, San Fernando Valley will present a literary "open mike" night at 7 p.m. Thurs., May 17 on the second floor of Borders Books, 6510 Canoga Ave., Canoga Park.

All genres are welcome. Readers are limited to no more than 10 minutes and all content should be appropriate for families. Listeners are welcome.
