Pepperdine prof to speak to Republicans

The Westlake Village Republican Women Federated will host a dinner with guest speaker beginning at 6:30 p.m. Wed., May 23 at the Westlake Village Inn, 31943 W. Agoura Road, Westlake Village.

Robert G. Kaufman, professor of public policy at Pepperdine University, will discuss his soontobepublished book, "In Defense of the Bush Doctrine: Moral Democratic Realism and American Grand Strategy."

Kaufman is a political scientist specializing in foreign policy, national security, international relations and politics.
