Soroptimists present Margarita Mixoff
Proceeds to benefit local organizations

Soroptimist International of the Conejo will present the sixth annual Margarita Mixoff from 6 to 8 p.m. Thurs., May 31 at Conejo Creek Park North, 1378 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks, behind the Grant Brimhall/ Thousand Oaks Library.

Admission includes appetizers, beer, wine, soft drinks and tickets to taste margaritas. Cost is $25 in advance until Thurs., May 24 and $30 after that date.

Guests must be at least 21 years old to be admitted.

Proceeds will benefit local community organizations.

The event is a competition featuring local restaurants and a tequila tasting booth. Attendees can vote for the "Best Margarita in the West."

Participating restaurants are Alamo Bar and Grill, BJ's Brewhouse and Restaurant, Borderline Bar and Grill, Crown and Anchor, Elephant Bar Restaurant, Money Pancho, Sagebrush Cantina, Senor Gomez and Tierra Rejada Golf Club.
