Astronomers look skyward

The Ventura County Astronomical Society will hold its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Fri., May 18 in the multipurpose room of Mesa Union School, 3901 Mesa School Road, Somis.

Guest speaker is David Coppedge, a systems administrator for the Cassini Mission to Saturn and Titan at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. A member of the Cassini team since before launch in 1997, Coppedge has been involved with the entire mission. He will talk about "the greatest hits" from the interplanetary mission.
