Men arrested for local crimes

Steven Cossel, 24, of Simi Valley, and Luis Rivera, 20, of Oxnard, were arrested April 25 on charges of possession of stolen property and violations relating to drugs and parole.

Detectives have traced the stolen property to at least 10 vehicle burglaries and thefts from Thousand Oaks, Simi Valley and Agoura Hills. Most of the thefts occurred the night before the subjects were arrested.

Ventura County Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and criminal complaint against those responsible for these types of crimes. The caller may remain anonymous, and the call is not recorded.
