Humphrey, Rubin move up

Doug Humphrey and Jay Rubin of Lee & Associates' Calabasas office have been promoted from associates to principals, according to the firm's regional president, Mike Tingus.

Rubin specializes in the sale and leasing of office properties and investment sales. Humphrey specializes in the sale of office, industrial and retail properties.

Humphrey has negotiated more than $800 million in sale and lease transactions, including the sale of a 27-acre land parcel in Westlake Village. Humphrey joined Lee & Associates in 2005. He is a graduate of the University of Tampa, Fla.

Rubin, who joined the company in 2003, has negotiated transactions throughout the region. Most recently he brokered a 125,000-square-foot, $10.75 million office sale in Moorpark and a 23,000-square-foot office lease in Warner Center for a value in excess of $3 million.

Rubin is a member of the Conejo Future Foundation and is also a member of the Young Executives. He attended Michigan State University.
