Remembering Michael Beck Whitehead

Michael Beck Whitehead, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and community leader, passed away suddenly on April 14, 2007 at 61 years of age. It was a devastating blow to her family and friends.

The sting was lessened by the outpouring of love and support that the Whitehead family has received. We have been sustained by so many members of our community coming forth with hugs, condolences, food and well wishes. It has meant a lot to me, her children and her friends that so many of you have been there for us in Michael's memory. We may bicker at times over local matters, but when it came to the truly important stuff, you were there. Thanks to our entire community.
