Big prize winners in raffle

Thousand Oaks Mayor Pro Tem Jacqui Irwin recently drew the first cash prize winner names in the raffle being conducted by the Boys & Girls Clubs of Conejo and Las Virgenes.

The $1,000 winners are Dawn McGinty of Simi Valley and Jeanette Jennett of Camarillo.

The $500 winners include Veronica Martain-Haverbeck of Newbury Park, Jenny Johnson of Calabasas, Marie White of Oak Park and Jean Philippe Choudry of Agoura Hills.

The $300 winners include John Kolarik of Westlake Village, Tammy Swank of Oak Park, Desiree Ridge of Oak Park, David Leff of Calabasas, Robert Herdan of Westlake Village and Mary Sistrunk of Westlake Village.

The raffle proceeds will help the $10 million campaign underway to establish and furnish four additional Boys & Girls Club clubhouses to provide before- and after-school programs for youth in Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park.

All raffle tickets purchased by April 30 may be drawn for the next set of cash prizes, ranging from $300 to $10,000. Another set of cash prizes will be drawn in June, along with the grand prize choice of $1 million cash or a new townhome on Westlake Lake.
