Oaks Christian to host gala at Four Seasons

Oaks Christian School will host its seventh annual dinner auction, "A Season to Remember" at 5:30 p.m. Sat., May 5 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Two Dole Drive, Westlake Village.

Local resident Chris Harrison, host of ABC-TV "The Bachelor," will be the master of ceremonies for the black-tie gala.

Awardwinning composer, arranger and conductor Gordon Goodwin and his Big Phat Band will perform along with Oaks Christian student vocalists.

Tickets are $175 per person. VIP options are also available. Funds raised will support the independent school's financial aid program.

More than 500 items will be offered in the silent and live auctions, including attendance at the premiere of Will Smith's new movie, "I Am Legend," as well as an opportunity to meet the actor and go to the afterparty; a customized 2002 Ford Thunderbird; a chance to be a Lakers ball boy for one game and meet the players; and a Four Seasons Hotel/ California WellBeing Institute Spa and Hotel package.
