Interior design store opens

The new Designs Of The Interior, located across from Macy's in the Westfield Topanga Shopping Center, 21723 Vanowen St., Canoga Park, has opened.

DOTI specializes in providing clients with individual in-home or in-store service while offering exclusive brand names from the home furnishings and accessories industries. Merchandise includes upholstery and other furnishings, accessories, lighting, window treatments and rugs.

"DOTI has been a welcome addition to other communities because of our commitment to style, quality and service, and we look forward to being active members of the Woodland Hills community," said Karen Shoener, store coowner. "We are excited to provide our furniture and accessories as well as professional design services to local residents."

DOTI is the only franchised concept of its kind in the design and home furnishings industry. The store not only combines traditional interior design services and home furnishings, but also features retail showrooms.

Store owners Dan and Karen Shoener both have backgrounds in finance, employee coaching and management. The Shoeners plan to open a second location in the Thousand Oaks area next year.
