Stage Door matinee to support the troops

The Stage Door Theatre's production of the comedy "Having a Wonderful Time, Wish You Were Her" on Sun., April 29 will be a benefit performance for Operation Interdependence, a national nonprofit which provides a secure process for civilians to support the overseas military forces.

The group supplies troops with civilian rations, individual quart-sized baggies that contain everyday items and a personal note from a civilian at home.

All proceeds from the 2 p.m. show on April 29 will be donated to Operation Interdependence.

Participants may also write a personal note to be included with the rations or contribute needed items for the baggies. A list of approved items may be found on www.oidelivers.org.
