+Richard Nanula was not fired as executive vice president and chief financial officer of Amgen. The company said Nanula is leaving to "pursue other opportunities."

+The new Oak Park street sweeping schedule is: Zone A from Oak Park High School east to the Los Angeles County border on the first and third Tuesdays of each month; and Zone B covering all streets west of the high school to Lindero Canyon Road on the first and third Thursdays.
