Holocaust documentary to screen in Westlake
Film received an Academy Award
The Conejo Jewish Academy will host an evening of remembrance and inspiration in honor of Yom Hashoah (Holocaust Memorial Day) at 7:30 p.m. Mon., April 16 with a screening of the film "Genocide" at the Westlake Village Cinema, 4711 Lakeview Canyon Road.

This film is the first Holocaust documentary to receive an Academy Award.

"Genocide" is narrated by Orson Welles and Elizabeth Taylor. The film looks at the flourishing Jewish community in pre-war Europe, and then traces the Jewish people through the ghettos, camps, and prisons of the Nazi regime.

Rabbi Moshe Bryski will open the program with a memorial service and personal remarks. The cost is $10. For more information, call (818) 991-0991.
