'Apprentice' contender brings friendship to young patients

SHELLY MARKS/Special to The Acorn TENDER TIMES- Stefanie Schaeffer, an Oak Park resident and contender on NBC's "The Apprentice," delivers American Cancer Society teddy bears to patients at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles. The bears represent more than $8,000 raised by Schaeffer for the Society's free cancer patient programs, services, research and advocacy efforts.
