Street sweeping schedule revised

To keep Oak Park's streets clean the county provides a street sweeping vehicle for the community. The sweeping schedule was recently changed at the request of the Oak Park MAC.

Zone A, which includes all streets from Oak Park High School east to the Los Angeles County border will now be swept the first and third Thursday of the month.

Zone B, covering all streets west of the high school to Lindero Canyon Road, is swept the first and third Tuesday of the month.

Residents are urged to keep vehicles off the streets on sweeping days. The schedule does not conflict with trash pickup and is effective this month.
