Landecker swinging a hot stick for Calabasas

Prior to Wednesday's game against Simi Valley High, Calabasas sophomore third baseman Adam Landecker was leading the Marmonte League with a .543 batting average.

Landecker, who's in his first full year with the Coyote varsity team, had hit safely in the team's last six games, including a four-hit performance during the Coyotes' 9-7 victory over Westlake last week.

In addition to leading the league in hitting, Landecker ranks second on the team with 10 RBI and was tied with Alex Kurland for the Coyote lead with two home runs.

Miles Silverstein leads CHS with 14 RBI through last week's games. Calabasas is currently in fifth place in the league standings.
