Sumac fundraiser is a slice of paradise
Custom motorcycle to be auctioned

The Slice of Paradise dinnerdance, silent and live auctions hosted by Sumac Elementary School's Parent Faculty Association will be April 28 at the Malibou Lake Mountain Club, 20933 Lake Vista Drive, Agoura Hills.

Event organizers will offer for auction a custom-built motorcycle. Designed and created by Sumac father and local businessman Vince De Falco of Picture City Cycles, the chopper is valued at more than $32,000.

Other live and silent auction items include lunch and a ride in the fire truck from the new fire station in Agoura Hills, Mayor for the Day at Agoura Hills City Hall, sports memorabilia and golf packages. All proceeds will benefit the students at Sumac Elementary School.

The evening will include live steel drums, an airbrush tattoo booth, cocktails, dinner and dancing. Early bird prizes include an iPod Shuffle and jewelry.

Child care for the evening, off-site at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center, will be available for a fee. Reservations are required and can be made by calling the Agoura Hills Community Center at (818) 597-7361.

Tickets for the event must be purchased in advance by April 17.
