Youth to present 'Carousel' musical

"Carousel," Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical about a carnival barker in 1870s New England and the mill girl he meets and marries, will be presented at Woodland Hills Community Church (United Church of Christ) 21338 Dumetz Road.

The production includes performers from fourth through 12th grades and continues the church's 20-year tradition of presenting an annual, fully staged, major Broadway musical open to any youth in the community regardless of religious affiliation.

Performances are 7:30 p.m. Thurs. to Sat., April 26 to 28 and Fri. and Sat., May 4 and 5. Sunday matinees will be at 2 p.m. April 29 and May 6.
