YMCA to offer sports for itty bitty kids

The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Agoura Hills and Oak Park, will offer "Itty-Bitty" spring sports league for boys and girls ages 3, 4 and prekindergartners. Sign-ups for players and coaches are underway.

The season begins April 17 and runs for six weeks at Sumac Park, 6050 N. Calmfield Drive in Agoura Hills. League participants meet twice a week.

"The league is noncompetitive and focuses on skills and sportsmanship," said Veronica Rodarte, Triunfo YMCA program director. "The kids play between four and five sports every season to keep them engaged." Players will receive a T-shirt to be worn at each practice and game. The league will host an endofseason banquet to recognize all players. Each child will receive a trophy. For more information, call Rodarte at (818) 707-9622 or e-mail vrodarte@triunfoymca.org.
