Hot product wins prize
Salsa de mi Tia 'No. 1 Hot Salsa'

Lori Asher of Agoura Hills won the top prize in the category "No. 1 Hot Salsa" at the recent Oxnard Salsa Festival salsa contest.

Asher, whose company is called Salsa de mi Tia, has placed her product in 25 stores locally and also sells it on the Internet at www.salsademitia.com.

She said she's currently working with distribution companies to get her product onto the shelves of larger stores.
