Agoura Hills balloon business expands

Balloon Designs by Jeanne has moved to 5312 Derry Ave., Ste. J, Agoura Hills. A spokesman said the company needed more space to construct larger balloon sculptures and to fill larger orders.

Designs include balloons with feathers, beads and silk flowers; balloons with doughnut holes and curly Qs; and balloons that look like flowers. Other creations include balloon arches and columns, and balloon drops or releases.

Balloon bouquet deliveries are another company specialty. Personal messages and names can be printed on the balloons.

The company uses environmentally friendly, 100 percent rubber Qualatex balloons. Owned by husband and wife Jeanne and Dave Cockcroft, Balloon Designs employs Jeanne's daughter Alisha as manager of the balloon décor department.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
