A final word from Toby Keeler
It has been one month since the Calabasas election, yet some still find it necessary to justify the incumbents' victory by bashing the challengers. Get over it . . . you won! Mr. Pope, in particular, is part of an "insiders club" whose sole interest is controlling power in Calabasas at...

Eruv wasn't right
As a Jewish man myself, the provincial tone of Guy Havive's letter regarding the eruv (the Jewish boundary marker in Oak Park) was embarrassing to me. In an era in which teaching our youth diversity is celebrated, how did ethnic separatism become a cause celeb?

Even a puppy deserves TLC
I love my school, my teachers, my principal and my school friends. I am also very proud of my school's Student Council because last year they made a donation to Malibu Pet Companions, a nonprofit organization that pays for the vet care of animals at the Agoura Animal Shelter.

Debating Darwin
It is sad and discouraging to see scientific illiteracy demonstrated again and again by so many Americans. Biological evolution is an empirical fact as well as a scientific theory. The scientific argument as to the factual nature of evolution was settled in the latter part of the 19th c...
