Conejo Players to present 'Angel Street'

The Conejo Players Theatre will present "Angel Street" by Patrick Hamilton Thursdays through Saturdays, with two Sunday performances, April 13 to May 12 at 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

First produced on Broadway as "Gaslight," "Angel Street" tells the story of a husband who is slowly torturing his wife into insanity under the guise of kindness. While her husband is out, Mrs. Manningham is visited by an agent from Scotland Yard who becomes convinced that Mr. Manningham is a maniacal criminal wanted for a murder committed 15 years before.

Appearing in the production are Todd Weldon, Nancy Finn, Camille La Fredo, Hannah Kaplan, Srinivas Kanury, Jeremy Hanna and Chris White. The show is directed by Arryck Adams and produced by David Banuelos and Shawn W. Lanz. The set and lighting were designed by Sean Harrington.

Showtimes are Thursdays through Saturdays at 8 p.m., with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. April 15 and May 6. Tickets are $14 for Thursday performances, $16 Fridays and Sundays, and $18 for opening night and Saturdays.
