Community Foundation to host wine tasting

The Thousand OaksWestlake Village Community Foundation will hold a wine tasting fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Sat., April 28 at a private Lynn Ranch home. The event will raise money for scholarships for local high school seniors in the regional occupational program.

According to the wine tasting committee, wines that are not available in local supermarkets have been selected and paired with food prepared by Sayrelyn's Culinary Classics. There will be wine for sale and a silent auction of wine-related items.

Space is limited; reservations are required. Reservations made before Fri., April 13 will be entered into a drawing for a bottle of wine. The cost is $65 before April 13 and $75 after and at the door. The price includes a $35 donation to the foundation, a nonprofit organization.
