The city of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services presents the following programs.

+Applications for the Teen VIP- Teen Volunteer Program will be available at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center on April 1. The city is seeking 80 teens from ages 11 to 17 to volunteer during the summer in a variety of activities, including recreational classes, office work at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center, the Agoura Hills City Hall, camps, special events and more.
The deadline to submit an application is Mon., June 4. The cost for the program is $20, which includes a T-shirt, VIP manual and fingerprinting.
A mandatory VIP Orientation Meeting is scheduled for noon on Sat., June 16 at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center.
+The new Spring 2007 brochure is available. Programs are available for all ages, including dance, art, sports, cooking, fitness, fencing and foreign language classes at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center.
+A variety of camps for children and teens will be available during the Las Virgenes Unified School District spring break from April 9 through 13.
"Springtime Fun Camp" is for ages 3 to 6 and is offered from 9 a.m. to noon at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center for a fee of $20 per day. Activities include arts and crafts, recreation, cooking and more.
"Spring Caravans" is for ages 6 to 10 and will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for an all-inclusive fee of $35. Participants will visit Chuck E. Cheese, Lazer Tag, GolfNStuff, Tierra Rejada Farm, IMAX theater, bowling and more.
"Adventure Club," for ages 11 to 16, will include trips to Knott's Berry Farm, Golf-N-Stuff and bowling, Magic Mountain and Universal Studios. Teen trips are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the cost $35 on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Trips will run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday for a cost of $45.
Sports camps are offered for ages 6 to 14.
+The cities of Agoura Hills, Calabasas and Westlake Village will sponsor the "10th annual Senior Expo," which offers general education and awareness of products and services that are available to older adults/seniors.
This event is free and will be from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tues., April 17 at the Agoura Hills/ Calabasas Community Center, 27040 Malibu Hills Road.
There will be booths and displays featuring different organizations, vendors, senior services, health screenings, demonstrations and free door prizes.
The city of Calabasas will donate a free catered lunch for the first 250 seniors who RSVP by calling the Agoura Hills Recreation Center at (818) 597-7361.
