Future Track Running Club offering college scholarship

The Future Track Running Club in Agoura Hills is seeking applications for its 2007 scholarship.

A $2,000 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior attending one of the following schools: Agoura, Calabasas, Grace Brethren, La Reina, Liberty Christian, Moorpark, Newbury Park, Oak Park, Oaks Christian, Royal, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks, Viewpoint and Westlake.

Applicants are required to have participated in at least two years of track and field and/or cross country, be continuing their education post-high school and attained a 3.0 (out of 4.0) GPA.

In addition, applicants will be judged on an essay regarding the influence of track and field and/ or cross country on their life and high school experience.
