Malibu Wine Classic will benefit victims of child abuse

The fourth annual Malibu Wine Classic will be Sat., March 31 at Malibu's Sunset Restaurant, 6800 Westward Beach Road, Malibu.

The afternoon grand tasting will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. The evening tasting, which is limited to 250 guests, will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

More than 60 wineries will participate, including Arcadian, Fess Parker, Zaca Mesa, Laetitia, Brander, Talley, Summerland, Tablas Creek, L'Aventure, Linne Calodo and Saxum.

Funds raised will benefit Childhelp, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to helping victims of child abuse and neglect.

Afternoon session tickets are $79, which includes a silent auction plus 20 restaurants serving tasting portions.

Evening session tickets cost $195 and feature a selection of central coast wineries, table seating, catered food, and silent and live auctions.
